Hi I’m Andrew Smith
and I am a Graphic Designer from Glasgow, Scotland. I have always been interested in design and started to teach myself Photoshop, and designing posters, while I was still in school.
I design things
After leaving school I went to Glasgow Clyde College and completed their NQ and HNC/D Graphic Design courses. I am currently studying there for my BA (Hons).
I love all types of design but many of my favourite designs are done in the clean, Swiss-style modernist style of design, and this style of typography inspires me to make my own typography simpler and more readable.
I love books and music
Aside from design, I love to read and have a quite large personal library. Reading is a passion of mine, where I find myself being creatively inspired through the other worlds that reading can transport you to. I am also a huge music lover and enjoy listening to a huge variety of different bands, although I find myself coming back to alternative/punk bands as my favourites.
